Quotes:
"ZEUUUUUS! Is this how you face me, coward?! I am THROUGH doing the bidding of the gods! Come down here and face me now, Zeus!" — Kratos, after snapping upon finding out that Zeus had destroyed Sparta God of War 2.
"In the time before the Titans, before the Gods of Olympus, a great battle was waged. The wrath of the Primordials, the very beings who forged the Earth, raged out of control for an eternity. And from this rage, this madness of war, the Furies were brought forth. Neither Titan nor God, mortal or shade. The Furies were bound to no one. For they were the guardians of honour. The enforcers of punishment. The bane of traitors. When Zeus came to power, he found he had little to fear from the sisters. The Furies sought retribution only for those whom they deemed guilty. The first of these traitors was Aegaeon the Hecatonchires. When the brute pledged a blood oath to Zeus, only to later betray the King of the Gods, the Furies were quick to take action. The sisters relentlessly hunted Aegaeon and upon capturing the creature, tortured him without mercy. For the Furies believed death was too kind for this oath-breaker. Aegaeon the Hecatonchires became an example to all. A special symbol for those who might think to break a blood oath with a God. Kratos, the great Spartan general, was finally defeated. Driven mad, tortured, and uncertain of his surroundings, the warrior found himself captured like a fly in the web of the Furies." — Gaia, opening narration in God of War Ascension.
"Death can have me, when it earns me." Kratos in God of War Ragnarok Trailer.
“I am the God of Golf!”- Kratos in Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds (Everybody's Golf 5 for PlayStation 3)
"The Gods of Olympus have abandoned me. Now there is no hope..."
"Ares! Destroy my enemies, and my life is yours!"
"Ten years, Athena! I have faithfully served the gods for ten years! When will you leave me of these nightmares?"
"By the gods, what have I become?"
"Wretched beast! I know who it is you serve..."
"Ares, you will die for what you did that night!"
"Before there was a god...before there was a warrior, the Oracle had foretold of The Marked One. Every past has its ghosts. Every end must first begin." — Gaia, God of War Ghost of Sparta E3 2010 Trailer.
"Kratos, the Ghost of Sparta, had taken his place amongst the Olympians as the God of War. The bloodshed, the relentless battles had finally brought him here. Ares was dead. And though Olympus beckoned, visions of his mortal existence still haunted him."
[...]
"Kratos knew that this was not a mere vision. For with the gods, nothing was ever as it seemed. The vision of his past set Kratos in search of answers; Answers that lay in the temple of Poseidon, deep within the city of Atlantis." — Gaia, opening narration God of War Ghost of Sparta.
"The gods will not decide my fate, Thanatos!" — Kratos (confronting the god of death)
"Let the gods keep their honor. I only want to find my brother." — Kratos
"A Spartan's sword never touches the ground. Right, brother?" / "A Spartan never lets his back touch the ground." — Deimos and Kratos
"By the gods, what have I become?" — Kratos
"Death... the destroyer of worlds." — The Gravedigger
"You are nothing but a puppet who doesn't even know he's being used." — Thanatos (addressing Deimos/Kratos)
“Suffering for years, Kratos, the once great general, now known as the Ghost of Sparta, had pledged himself as a champion to the gods of Olympus. In return, he hoped only to rid himself of the nightmares that haunted him for far too long.” - Gaia Narration in God of War Chains of Olympus.
“By forsaking his daughter, he had abandoned the only person he ever cared for. What he had long sought and finally found was now forever lost.”
“I won't take your riches, but I will take your life!” Kratos to Persian King in God of War Chains of Olympus.
“Is this all you would have me do?! Is there nothing else?!”
“I grow tired of the gods' requests, Athena. I have given enough. Now take these nightmares from my head.”
"Drown in the depths of Hades!"
"None shall defy me!"
"I am the God of War!"
"I will make you suffer!"
"Spartans do not know the meaning of surrender."
"Your end begins!" -Kratos Quotes in Soul Calibur Broken Destiny.

Alright, that’s it, folks. As you may know, this bald God of War has had quite a long journey—starting with *God of War: Ascension*, followed by *God of War: Chains of Olympus* and *God of War 1*. Then came *God of War: Ghost of Sparta* and *God of War 2*, eventually leading into *God of War 3* and *God of War 4* (or *Ragnarök*). There’s also the mobile game, *God of War: Betrayal*—but that’s a story for another time. As you’ve seen, the character has evolved tremendously; and yes, he has killed—or rather, massacred—a wide array of beings, from gods, Titans, and tragic Greek heroes to monsters that were once nothing more than mere legend.
And let’s not forget his other appearances as a cameo: *Hot Shots Golf*, *PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale*, *Mortal Kombat 9*, and *SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny, Shovel Knight, and others*.
Speaking of trivia... did you know that the ending of *God of War III* was originally going to be very different from what we got in the final product? For instance, take a look at what’s shown in *Bit of War*—which was intended to be the true ending of *God of War III*. Just a little bit of trivia for you! Also, during the development of the original *God of War*, there was an idea to give Kratos a companion or guide—something like Link’s companion in *Ocarina of Time*. Some even suggested it could be a dog. Would that have been strange? Perhaps... I can’t really picture the legendary Ghost of Sparta with a dog. Would it have been the "Dog of Sparta"? Who knows!
The reason I decided to upload this pack:
Well, I realized that there really weren't any skins available from games like *God of War Ragnarok* or *Ascension*, nor from the PSP titles like *Ghost of Sparta* or *Chains of Olympus*. Given their absence, I decided to create them myself—through a process of trial and error. In the end, I was very satisfied with the result. Also, I would sometimes come across a Kratos skin wearing "God of War" armor that didn't quite fit the character's look; so, I made sure to include the specific versions from *God of War II*, *Ghost of Sparta*, and *SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny*.
Well, that’s it, folks. I hope you really enjoy this pack. I apologize for my inactivity; my health still isn’t great. I’m recovering little by little—this sore throat just won’t go away! But I’ll be back on my feet soon. So, for now, I’m going to take a long break—at least until my health is 100% restored, rather than just 80%, 90%, 70%, or 60%.
