Beschreibung
Race Maker is a mod that allows you to create races as simply as possible, without having to write a line of code, just create and play, simple. The first version was released in 2021, it received some updates, and I left it aside, as I was kind of unwilling to make mods, however, now, I present VERSION 2.0, rebuilt from scratch (now that I have more experience), the problems of first version were fixed, like better UI, a more elaborate 2 player mode (but still a bit broken due to time limit, but I intend to update the mod), new features were added, like a position/lap counter, and a MAP EDITOR, and requests from old version users, such as races spawning on the map, better camera positions, a better UX, and others.
The map editor is inspired by the EventLab of Forza Horizon 5/GTA Online Creator Mode, which allows you to position objects that appear during the race, thus being able from close the city streets, to create new structures/paths for your race.
To start creating, use the "RACEMAKER" cheat to activate "creative mode", from there, you can press the Y key to open the menu and start making the race, configure everything to your liking, test, if you have good, save, disable editor mode and run the race you just made.
I still intend to create a video tutorial on how to use the mod, however, for now, I think that's all.

Nevermind my previous post.
I figured all them out.
But this mod has a major issue that needs fixing... The save files.
I save races in different slots, but when I start a new race, it still loads the previous one, then overwrites it.
The saving system needs redoing properly.
Also, racing mode is only available through testing, making the whole mod redundant... As fun as it is.

Man, this is such an awesome mod... But needs two major improvements.
The amount of lag that slows down the game too much, and it needs a default preset for the bots to all be at starting point instead of having to drive each individual car to that point.
There are also two things I could not figure out.
1. How to change cars.
2. How to save the races in order to start them in normal mode, without having to open editor.

@GabrielGGBR
I got it, brodar.
I recently tried the race creator v1.5 ++ script by Flitbed and he managed to find a way to make the ped goes directly to the checkpoint. Unfortunately his script is locked tho :\
Hope you figure out a way to do that cause having it plus the object spawner you made would be just perfect.
Good luck

Awesome work, brodar!
I just tested your script and it works like a charm. It's a plus to have the map/model edit thing inside it.
Just one thing:
Are you tryin' to improve the AI part?
'Cause everytime i try to make a race on a custom map, the ia just follow the first 2 or 3 checkpoints and stop after that. I think if it's a way to force them to go directly to the checkpoint's coords.
Keep it up!
