it works for me

my pc

amd athlon 3800+ 2.41mhz
Nvidia GF 8600gt 256mb
1 GB ram

withouth this 15+ fps
with 29+ fps

Amazing !!!!

Also ich hab auch "nur" einen Dual Core aber mit ein paar Einstellungen kann man es sehr gut spielen , hab aber dafür eine recht gute Grafikkarte.
Pentium D 2x 2,8 Ghz
2048 MB RAm
Geforce GTX 260 AMP2 Zotac.
Ihr müsst auf jedan Fall alle unnötigen Hintergrundprozesse beenden , mit dem Task Manager. Ich hab nach Beendigung aller unnötigen Prozesse nur noch 22 Prozesse die man nicht beenden kann.
Dann mit Social Club ins Spiel, Speilstand laden, also dass ihr richtig schon im Game seid, ab ins Pausenmenü, Windowstaste drücken, Task manager öffnen (gta dabei einfach im hintergrund laufen lassen) im Task menu Social Club beenden, Launchgta4 beenden..und so ein Prozess namens Presentation FontCache..der kann auch weg, nur gta4.exe bleibt natürlich, dann wider ins Spiel und man hat deutlich wenigeer Ruckler. :)

with this patch i run GTAIV at 30 FPS, and before i run it at 20...

10 FPS +

hm ich finde die fps steigt bei mir nicht. ich spiele auf hoch mit 30 fps. der patch nimmt nur die sichtweite aber schneller wirds nicht.
